HOW TO FIND A ROOF
Remember that if you are not a European national (GROUP A), the Immigration Rules say that you must be able to meet the cost of accommodation in the UK without working full-time or claiming welfare benefits. In many areas of the UK there is a shortage of students accommodation so you must start looking as soon as you have been accepted for a course, especially if you plan to bring your family with you to the UK.

It is important that you arrange some form of accommodation before you set out for the UK. We advise you to do it before you leave your country!
Here we give you some advice how to find accommodation in London. We have listed some types of accommodation including information about prices, personal experiences and pros and cons from our point of view. We also give you an idea where to find this information (see sources of information section) as well as vocabulary and useful information that you might find helpful when looking for accommodation.
Good luck!
